It's been hectic here lately.  We had a new addition on 3/12.  Sadie gave us a darling doeling!  

She still doesn't have a name yet, but we'll figure something out.  Nubian kids are always so darn CUTE!  

After two back-to-back days of shopping trips, we got the rest of the flooring tile we needed, plus trim paint, 2 more ceiling fans...  and lots of miscellaneous stuff.  I think we got most everything on the list, anyhow.  The under-layment for the floor is all down, every piece of it!  We did pick up our medicine cabinet for the bathroom too.  He has it all stained & about ready to hang.  The ceiling fans are already up too!  He'll be ready to start laying the rest of the tile throughout the house soon, but first the prep work, as always.  I'm always amazed every day by how little I really knew about how things are built.  LOL

Hummmm??  Well, not much more to see yet, Nancy.  At least, not that he wants to take pictures of yet.  The tile is down in the bathroom.  The tile is down in the utility room.  The laminate flooring is down in the pantry.  He really didn't like the laminate or the way it goes together -- so we sold the rest of the laminate flooring.  He put underlayment on the floors of both bedrooms and the master bedroom closet. Yesterday, we went and picked up some more underlayment for tile plus some other things that Mtn. Grove building supply had cheaper than Lowe's.   I have a doctor's appt up at the lake Tuesday, so we will hit Sutherlands (for our medicine cabinet) and Lowe's for the rest of the stuff on our list, including tile for the bedrooms.  He's also spent a lot of time tying up little stuff.

He's done about all he can do for the moment in the kitchen...

So he started putting the bathroom together:

The underlayment for the floor is down, and the next thing will be to lay the tile, and then install the toilet.  It really is beautiful.  We still have to go pick up the medicine cabinet, and a bit of the oak trim, but it's getting close.  One more giant step forward!

Last two cabinets go up in the kitchen, and the counter top is in!

Here you go, Nancy.   LOL  Shanny took the photos with her cell phone.  HE didn't want to take any pictures till those last two cabinets were stained to match and he had the merlite up on the walls.  ;-)
